Werkschule means to learn “at work”. There are practical lessons in home economics (max. 16 students) three days a week.
These include cooking, baking, tasting, preparing parties and professional laundry care. Our curriculum has many components, because a close connection between theory and practice is key. That is why “catering” is an important element of the course: Your class plans and creates a buffet that is not only delivered, but served!
Another important area of practical training is our cafeteria: it is run by teachers together with the students. For three years you have the chance to get to know and practise gastronomy in your own school, from dealing with customers, through perfect service, to working at the cash register.
