There are no more than 16 students in each class.
Practical training takes place three days a week. Home Economics is located in Blumenthal. There is cooking, baking, eating (tasting), laundry work and preparing food for parties.
In the three years you have the opportunity to work on many projects. Theory and practice are closely connected.
Your class is responsible for catering. The class prepares food for a buffet which is delivered and – consumed!
Socio-pedagogical care (conflict management, experiential education, leisure-time offers) is an important part of the Werkschule.
During the three years of the Werkschule program there will be four to five internships to facilitate your career decision.
Supported by our staff, working in the cafeteria (customer relations, service, accounting) is a central element of your Werkschule training.
